sam007 34
For piece of mind If it starts growing straight to the vet just to be on the safe side I lost a dog to the big C in tne mouth Quote Link to post
all.rounder 3
i was going to say a tick .is it annoying the dog. Quote Link to post
Shazza 52
Aren't ticks usually dark coloured as they are filled with the blood of the animal they are sucking. All the ones i have removed have been a deep purple colour engorged with blood. I'd get it removed due to it's location, even if it is just a harmless wart, if the dog accidently bites it it'll bleed a lot and would cause pain. Quote Link to post

CarraghsGem 92
its a wart, my old terrier has one on her belly, ive kept an eye on it for the last 2yrs and it hasnt grown. seen one on top of a lurcher pups head once. harmless as long as it doesnt grow any bigger Quote Link to post
Lennard 10
Defo not a tick, there is nothing arthropod about the fleshy structure we see. It is a wart of sorts, the vets can easily remove it. L Quote Link to post
