19powell90 89
Hi lads thanks for the comments. well we went out for a quick lamping session tonight and saw about 5 bunnies but all ran off or were to far to shoot. always typical when u get excited about a first lamping session on a new permission - but many more days to come. all wasnt going well for me today after having dropped my rifle and softed the blow with my foot which hit the scope and sent it WELL off - 6ft under to be precise!!!!! so i had to cut some cloth and put it under the back mount to sort it out. all seems well for now as i was hitting bottle caps at 50m after zeroing. will be next weekend for the next lamping session so will keep all posted. thanks scott Quote Link to post
Alex Arrigone 24
hey lads, well me and my friend went on the new permission tonight. excellent area for rabbits however the night was a massive fail. due to it being the first night on the permission we were still getting used to good firing points and rabbit hot spots. we have found a few good places and saw a few rabbits, however the ground was quite uneven and you couldnt see them when in the prone position and shots from the knleeling or standing were too wobbly at that distance so the only thing we hit tonight was a glass house due to an accidental weapon discharge hopefully the next visit will be more successful lol Quote Link to post

How did you have an accidental discharge? Do you not have a safety on the rifle? Quote Link to post

Do you not have a safety on the rifle? the safety is on the trigger itself and thats how it happened, the damage isnt too noticable so all is good Quote Link to post
