welshhunter 0 Posted January 14, 2011 Report Share Posted January 14, 2011 take the dog out on the lead around bikers and joggers when the dog goes pull back stop walking and a firm slap on the end of the nose. repeat until it stops you want to sort any teething problems out straight away dont let your pup think its ok because it will do it in other area. all the best just have patience and repeat time after time. ftm 3,357 Posted January 14, 2011 Report Share Posted January 14, 2011 paul you can start at 12 months but make every thing simple for dog nowt that will frustrate it as collie crosses are renowned for barking if entered too early mate. break lamping up now and again with a bit of fereting keep the dog keen but if you can hang back with dog as long as possible you will not regret it as mine were great dogs mind you i had one that once he had a misfortunate encounter with a fox at 11 months and he switched off bunnies altogether and killed fox after fox till he was 10 years old every one borrowed him from me he was that good [just my best mates tho] Quote Link to post
