J Darcy 5,871
Just getting to the end of customising my 77 up and need a nice spring to go on the rifle. Any suggestions as to who makes nice slings, maybe slightly different from the usual run-of-the-mill types......cheers Quote Link to post
gurtwurz 792
probably not as posh as youre looking for JD, but i plaited up some paracord to make mine and threaded a loop through each QD stud. like i say, it doesnt look posh, but it works a treat and is silent to boot! cheers, wurz Quote Link to post

matt_hooks 188
Every bale of hay and straw at work comes wrapped up in perfect sling making material. I actually plait them and fit them onto spring hooks to use as lead ropes for the horses, but they make perfect slings! I actually use neoprene slings on my rifles, as they are so much more comfortable when carrying the rifle all day as I tend to at work (and they make a nice soft hand cushion when shooting off a fence post or the like!)
