Guest busterdog
Goldy, Spartacus was not a Gould bred terrier he was 1/2 Parks 1/4 gould 1/4 staff as for P.B, McCoy he was 1/2 old Middleton [Rex, Wilkinson] 1/2 white terrier [russel?] so they are more scater bred than line bred, as for Nuttal he has been breeding shit for years..... if you breed enough shit you will get the odd one that floats [work] well almost mate, mccoy was bred out of a white middleton dog called jock, over a black bitch called darkie, hence why he threw occasional white himself, the breeding of darkie was kept quiet by pb himself (so i dont know no matter how much i asked him but rumour has it was bred down off toddy lines from warrington by dr???) spartacus was out of blackjack to a red parkes bitch owned by dr at the time , not sure how much bull in blackjack (tufftpal is the man to ask re this). yep i totally agreewith you if you breed enough you get something sooner or later. Darky was owned by Ray norman of staffordshire who brought her from south wales and never new her breeding, toddy nancy lines my arse. Edited August 11, 2008 by busterdog Quote Link to post

Guest busterdog
hi there im new to the site, im 28 north yorkshire an love to hunt with my lurcher an terrier combo, and its the terrier i want to mention. she is 19 months an red in colour, i got her when she was 9 month old from gary middleton himself, it took me 18 month to find him then i booked a terrier pup, after waiting another few months the whole litter died, gary being the kind old fashioned terrier man must have recognised how gutted i was. he offered me the red bitch. sha came to me settled well with both my young kids, ferrets and lurcher and is by far THE BEST working dog iv seen working rabbits, ill keep everybody posted when she encounters rats. one other thing i think gary middleton would giggle if he knew somebody paid 1000 for a pup, and i will mention it [bANNED TEXT] im next on the phone well donnie where do i start ! 19 months old hasnt seen a rat, f~#k me oriely RABBITS Jesus i would have shot the bitch after the first one.How could you ever use the bitch to ground knowing it works them, i wouldnt like to be the one to dig ten foot or even one foot to her, come on lad give your head a shake.
