happylamper 7 Posted January 12, 2011 Report Share Posted January 12, 2011 hi chaps a lad pop to mine with is pup last week,wanting my opinion the front legs are bowing inwards i said that could be lack of calcium in the joints.i said to him nip to tesco's get some calcium tablets and try them,i'v spoke to him today he said that the dog legs look as if the getting better,i know this can take time to sort themselves out,but would anyone reccomend anything else to try?thanks Quote Link to post

bradaz2009 9 Posted January 12, 2011 Report Share Posted January 12, 2011 i bought 2 pups not so long back both had it one got put to sleep(mistake looking back now)the other was abit touch and go 30% protein now and she is fine but i got a bitch the other day and the guy mentioned bout its legs been bowed when younger he took it vets they said put it down 3 dif vets then he went to a working dog vet they just wormed it and it come right there must be many reasons why it happens tell him to keep it rested as much as possible though Quote Link to post
mongoose 39 Posted January 12, 2011 Report Share Posted January 12, 2011 Had this in a terrier pup, vet told me to take it off puppy food as there is something she wasn't getting in the food and feed meat with bones cushed up so will eat them and also add geens like cabbage, kale leaves blended up. mrmen16 5 Posted January 15, 2011 Report Share Posted January 15, 2011 i had same problem with my pup i got told to use babys milk so i bought cow & gate 1+ years after he had 1 tub and could see a big diffrence he just finished his secound and looks like a normal lurcher feed twice a day and at 16oz and you see a diffrence by anychance is the dog got bull init ?
