Lure machine how much would you be doing a week

You don't have to own a lure machine to say what you'ed run! but i want you to think about how far your dog would run and the amount of time's in one week!!

 

This could be to get them fit or keep them working fit!

but if you'ed do x amount or run's to get them fit plz post to say so if the number is less than keeping them fit!

MY FREINDS AND I USED GARDEN CAINS STUCK INTO THE RUNNING AREA AND LACED THE CORD THROUGH SO WHEN THE PUPS WERE CHASING THEY WOULD TURN AS IF THE QUARRY WAS TURNING IT WAS GREAT FUN WATCHING THE PUPS.I HAVENT USED A LURE FOR YEARS THOUGH.ATB.

car,nt anwser as i,ve only used them at shows but i would say if you doing 2 keep your dog fit ,you would have 2 it alot ,personally i,d prefer 2 get out and do it ,lots road bikeing ,i lamp them 3/4 nights aweek and mooching,that should do it ,i thought the lure was for learning young dogs or just a bit fun at shows or for raceing whippets

Thats what i do but with one turn at the min! i don't just switch it on and off at the end! i make it as real as possable!

i slow it right down till she gets close then start it back up so she's on her toes all the time!

Its for anything you wanna use it for mate!! if i take my bitch out for a mooch i'ed be lucky to get two run's!!

same with lamping at the min! i'm just tring to make it as real as possable for her!!

my regularlie worked lurcher wont chase them really. I think a lurcher knows whats a rabbit or hare and whats a plastic bag. take them out on the lamp.

my bitch knows and she still run's but its no plastic bag its a lure , hare or rabbit pelt!

agreed the option is dont post,also when i raced greyhounds they chased a plastic bag on a the hare rail there sight hounds they will chase anything thats moving.regardless of whether its a tesco bag or a a teddy bear.

well now i know ya a mackem coont am not going to offer..lol you got a car mate ?? you could pop up in a week or two n have a run on the lure with your dog's?? i'm just down from stanley @ burnopfield!!

Because thats up to you how and what you use it for mate!! but yes it is a bit of fun/training/keep fit!

i just want to know what amount of run's peopel would do on and off season!
