juckler123 707
Are you using an ockle [finger protector] its easier when you first start as it dont hurt your hand as much and you can pull better you only need to use one till you get used to knitting Quote Link to post
mole catcher 1
If your using hemp there is no need to double knot whatsoever. dont want to seem rude but you must be throwing your knots wrong. try to follow this 1, asuming you have done your first row of knots bring your needle downwards so the hemp lays over the fronte of the mesh board 2, pass the kneedle behind the back of the mesh board and bring it back through the mesh of the last row in an upwards direction 3, pull the hemp tight so the mesh board slids upto the bottom of the last rows mesh 4, WITH YOUR FINGER TRAP THE LOOP OF THE THE LAST ROWS MESH AND THE HEMP THAT IS COMING UP THROUGH IT AGAINST THE MESH GAGE. 5, throw a loop with the hemp that is connected to the needle over the mesh from the last row 6, now pass the needle round the back of BOTH the two lines of hemp that make the last row mesh and bring the needle upwards through the loop that was just made 7, pulling the needle upwards make the knot draw itself tight, STILL NOT LETTING IT SLIP FROM YOUR FINGER 8, repeat this until you reach the end of the row if you follow these instructions you wont go wrong, ive tried to make it as simple as possible for you, hope you can follow them Quote Link to post
