rudhach 0
yes, I have 2 Czechoslovakian wolfdogs, they are superb hunters... that's all i am going to say here about that though, they are everything you want from a dog, with the stamina and physical abilities of the wolf, The perfect dogs... Also, its untrue that we have bred the wolf 'out' of the dog... dogs ARE wolves! Just tame, inbred, retarded midget ones. The wolf is to the dog what the Muscular 'hunter Gatherer' Neanderthal would have been to a fat lazy obese man! However, there are several breeds that are considered 'wolfdogs' and it was only 150 or so years back that wolfdogs were crossed with the German shepherd, the wolf was brought in to form the Czech because the problems that inbreeding had caused, And it worked Edited January 23, 2011 by rudhach Quote Link to post

Dawn B 212
The Wolf content is very dilute, not many make decent workers, even in their native country. The Saarloos is shy and very unpredictable. Id rather have a Czech though, although a couple of the breeders in the UK are no more than puppy farmers. Quote Link to post
Simoman 110
I doubt a wolf hybrid would be of any use in the field, plus you would require a dangerous wild animal licence which would have stipulation including not be allowed to take the animal into the field......... Quote Link to post

Dotty the original question mentioned a wolfdog, no greyhound in the mix, so i was responding to that.... Quote Link to post
