spud123 14
had a day of today so took terriers out for a stroll with the lurcher pup and the good old bullx, walked to a few old spots and nowt at home so went across to other side of valley and bullx gave a posotive mark, so out with the bellman and collered up old black bitch, she flew in, so stood bk waiting for bolt for the gun and half hour later no bolt so out with box 0.9 at side of the bank, so dug down and bitch just stood bk and bayed wich is unusual for her. so lifted her out looked up tube and see a nice pair of eyes looking bk at me, bitch bk in and still just stayed at entrance making no effort to charge. so dug on a wee bit and seen vixen with 4 small cubs. bitch did the same last year but around end of feb with a litter to. so back filled a bit and left her b as there is no sheep farmer round ere. will go bk 2moz and bk fill proper, hopefull she will have moved them . anybody else found cubs so early in season?? rob84 112
have shoot a vixen 'on heat' september time 2 years ago, so if she would have had cubs they would be fair lumpers by now! On a totally different subject, the boys were out hunting today and one of them seen a fallow come by close with a little tiny calf with her! is this unusual or what? Global Warming hey!!!
