Aaron_butcher 17
Keep trying mate, she'll soon pick it up. Let her smell a bunny after every earth and if she marks the next and the earth produces, lots of fuss. I'm only in Dover so if you fancy a day out give me a pm. Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
When your out for a walk and you see a rabbit drop to ground take her over the holes and see what she does, encourage her to have a look. Don't praise them for marking a hole as this can encourage false marking. If she marks a set and it produces let her have a rag of the rabbit as a reward. You can maybe try getting a dead rabbit and pushing it down a hole out of reach of her and seeing if she scents it and tries to get down to it, might help it click, who knows. Apart from that just take her round lots of holes and scent and take her out so she sees them coming out and eventually. . . .. . click. Quote Link to post

mc145 15
If your going to let your dog smell the rabbit urine then just empty the bladder as you would before gutting, I wouldnt go to the extent of fishing out the bladder whilst your gutting it Quote Link to post
royal marine 0
if your ever digging down to a rabbit, let the dog take over as your breaking through so he/she see's what there working for Quote Link to post
