rwb41959 8 Posted February 19, 2011 Report Share Posted February 19, 2011 Nice animal,, what do the run like from this breeding,, i mean do the always pressure them or do they sit back a bit,, i think there is a fine line between the two,,, the red dog thts doing the rounds on you tube, looks like a decent animal, always up and at them for a full saluki, got good pace and gears,, i see some run that are one paced and sit behind too much,, they all have gears but do they use tthem. Does the bitch have papers.,, cheers. My 2 bitches both from cruise line are very quick off the mark, they dont sit back at all they seem to hit top speed straight away and maintain that even at point of kill. I know what your saying about different gears, ive seen a lot of salukis slow off the mark and step it up as the race goes on but i dont see any drop down a gear once upto speed. This bitch doesnt have full kc papers which isnt my fault (its a long story) but is pure 100% saluki. Our other bitch is fully papered. Quote Link to post

I will be breeding a litter of pure salukis in the spring. I bred tony burns sonny and kept a dog and bitch from the same litter. I will be breeding from the bitch in the spring/summer.
