rex 8
There is nothing better than watching a longdog you have neurtered and trained, looked after fed and watered, exercised and prepared gliding, pursuing and coursing it's prey repaying all your efforts by giving you a spectacle to enjoy and always giving it their all. Simply a joy and an honour something you can't explain to people who don't have the fortune to own one. Ath Rex 1 Quote Link to post

Ossie n Arch 1,682
One wandered into our garden a few years back, we handed him to the Vets, they sent him to the Rescue centre, 7 days later we went and had him back. It probably would have been the same story no matter what breed of dog it was, but i'm glad it was a Lurcher. Got another now aswell. Watching them run and hunt together is magical. It doesn't matter to me that we don't catch much, as long as my dogs are happy. Quote Link to post
