Recommended Posts

hi ya lads

just a short one but i manged to get out this morning the sun was shining the wind had gone so i thought i would take the hornet out for a shoot and squizzer bashing it was i got 5 but i could only find the 2 i knew the farmers collie had one or may even had been 2 but hey i was happy i got out and enjoyed the shoot to here is a few pictures of the squizzers i manged to keep lol

both squizzers were head shots as you may be able to see one squizzer was looking at me face on as i knew and crono'd the hornet which is running fantastic at 11.71 on the penny and the AA diablo field 16grains fit the barrel well i knew taking the shot at a sitter at 27mtrs i knew face on or to the side when the pellet hit it would be a straight kill which i was right this hornet is on the spot thank you tench and a big thank you to phil

Nice squizzer swatting Shay :clapper:

Been windy as hell round here today, especially this morning

I wanted to go do the registration shoot for both the Lil' Angel and my Baby today, but the way the wind was blowing around here, it would have been a waste of time and lead.

Maybe tomorrow after I have chased some people up and been into the sh!tpit called Hull for some stuff.

Roll on a nice calm dry day :boogie:

That my friend is the understatement of the year

The only part of getting back I looked forward to was seeing the kids.

I loved it there  very pleasant people, extremely gorgious landscapes and the country felt strangely 'Homely'

Given half a chance I'd be back there tomorrow

Hi Shay,

Is Brendans Ultra a .22 or .177 buddy?

I see that you Scorpian is a .22.

Im thinking of exchanging my .177 Ultra for a .22, something Tench tuned of course.

I just dont seem to be getting on with the smaller calibre and miss my .22 buddy, Ive nothing against the .177 calibre but just miss the challenge of shooting the .22 accurately with the hold over and under.

I wanted it for night time work on rabbits but i am thinking about just going back to a laser as a range estimation tool for night time.

What do you reacon buddy?

Si
