Thanks Goldfinch.....was just curious thats all. I know this may seem a daft question but.....could you trust a Terrier with Ferrets after doing Mink???? My own Lurchers and i have seen plenty more Kill Stoats that have bolted while Ferreting yet are BOMB PROOF around the Ferrets. Just with Terriers being more Fiery/Hot headed could they be trusted???? I have 3 Pet Dwarf Rabbits here that belong to my Niece......The Lurchers and the Terriers totally ignore them......Lads who i Dig and Ferret with cant believe it. Dogs are not as daft as some people make out......they soon learn whats OUT OF BOUNDS Quote Link to post
Beddy-Poacher 30
Are mink harder than a fox to a dog? Thinking about trapping some on the river there's plenty, But unsure whether my dog will do one alone.. Quote Link to post

Alli 923
sounds like fun, problem for me is my fell dog has terrible recall so he'd have to stay on a lead and theres always the danger of my bitch locating an earth and going to ground as shes nearly too good at finding earths. TRY PUTTING A COLLAR ON YOUR DOGS IT SEEMS TO WORK FOR ME. Quote Link to post
