kevin from bristol 95
if they didnt report it straight away then chances are there not going to and the longer they leave it the better for you ,with all the press about dangerous dogs lately they would have been there by now also the fact it happend 4 foot from your gate and other circumstances they havent got much of a case for a dangerous dog maybe just a little over protective i wouldnt worry about it dogs will fight its there nature no matter how well trained they are Edited January 11, 2011 by kevin from bristol
trooperman 73
probably going to cop it for this i would have told her and her partner to do one ,,,,,,when if the old bill come knocking tell them to bring her along with her yapping rat,,,,,get her to walk passed as she normaly does let them see her yapping rat and what it does then ask them who is to blame if she has had the dog a while she should of been able to shut it up by now and be used to other dogs,,,also if she was infront of your gates it is insightment on her dogs part,,,even more so if she often yells expletives at you about your dog. paul

Cold Ethyl 63
Was her dog on a lead? Anyways worst that happens given its not a banned breed is they will ask you and you can say no if you wish is to pay the bill. They can charge you with having an out of control dog in a public place but it wont end in the destruction of your dog it will more than likely be a fine or less for a first offence or one off.You cant argue the point of the dog leaving it cos it still did attack the jrt in the first place personally id pay the bill and that way you show your willing and sorry at least it would look better if the coppers come calling.
