pongopalmer 19 Posted January 7, 2011 Report Share Posted January 7, 2011 just putting me dog and baby in the car today and as i left me gate there was a woman and her very yappie JRT standing at the gate next to mine talking to the neighbour , now if i new she was there i would ov had him on a lead ,,, Well me dog grabed her JRT by its back and started to shake it , at this point the woman was screaming , i shouted to me dog to leave , me dog spat the JRT out and it dropped to the floor i got me dog in the truck and went to see if the JRT was ok .. it seamed a bit shaken and had 1 tooth mark on its back .. she took it home and returend a few houres later with her husband and a bill for £50 wich i thought quite resonable anyway the husband was saying that the vet had advised him to report my dog to the police saying it was a dangerous dog, he started coming out with shit like me dog was out ov control .. but my dog did leave very quickly alone as soon as i told it .. WTF does anyone have any advice on this situation (if the police come round ) I did apoligise to them and explained i have 5 kids 3 cats and would not own a dangerous dog it was because the dog protects his garden, car and family ...... lamaha 7 Posted January 7, 2011 Report Share Posted January 7, 2011 If the dog is good with visitors indoors i.e. rolling on back, waggy tale, great with the kids etc then play the distracted and very apologetic owner and show the old bill its sound, if its yappy,nippy and generally angry keep it out the way and be apologetic etc. Hopefully its all hot air from the owners and if you paid the vet bill etc then commonsense should prevail. Sorry, lady, old lady. Ah the plot thickens. What she allows her dog to goad your dog, that is why your dog shook her dog.
