BUT....... There are too many ego tripping people on here, know it all's, clingers, wind up merchants, liars, fakes, and phonies.

Iv Noticed a lot of people who seem to have no intrest in hunting with lurchers using the lurcher section regular as this is a "hunting site" (clue in its name) surley in the long run this must be a bad thing!

 

I like to hear from people who at least do a bit !

that's all fine and dandy until the wheels fall off fella. If and when it happens to ya you'll appreciate that not all folk are in a position to hunt with their dogs any more and it's nice just to be able to participate in some other way shape or form

ive been a member on her for a couple of years but done only a little hunting ,ive used this site for mainly reserch for myself as ive always had mainly racing greys ,and for many years i raced pigeons ,i didnt want to just jump into the sport without reserch first,after a couple couple of years i looked at the type of dog i would require and the quarry i would like to hunt ,i now have a lurcher pup whoes 18 weeks old hes good at basic comands ,house trained ,and is doing very well at retreving,at the moment im also working on stock breaking and this weekend hes going to be let off around stock on a long lead ,im 40+ and have picked up all these things by reading this site you shouldint be restrickting people you should be encouraging them . this year a guy off this site has taken me under his wing ive been traveling 120 miles to go rabbiting /longnetting and i hope to get some permission for next year .at leased ive got the basics and it was all picked up off this forum.

 

 

good man, if j darcy isn't complaining about it i dont think there is out wrong. id be hoping that i could participate in any of the topics here and be treated equally... as a fellow hunting man/woman.if ithought i could help you by answering any queries or questions you have id def reply as thats what this is supposed to be all about. look at whay ray did to help the newcommer saxon during the year.

I am a arm chair hunter because i choose not to take or put pics up of my dogs working or when out shooting. My dogs are not aloud to play with toys as working dogs are not aloud to play and we are not aloud to talk about any other type of dog or any other subject despite there being a general chat section because it's not what the cool kids do

I recently had a change in circumstances meaning I had to get rid of most of my dogs and I moved to a town. I have got another lurcher but at the moment can only take him lure racing, but if I move in a few years tome to somewhere more suitable I'm hoping to be able to let him hunt.

 

Does that mean for that time I should stop using the forum?

a lurcher site should be about working dogs and a non working sute should be about pet lurchers or non working lurchers but then again why osragise as you only telling the spies what you are we are all pet loving vegans who only go to shows thats what we all are , like poker never show your full hand at times if people vote to get hunting reicarnated then i couldnt give a monkeys if there against hunting should be dealt with the mods rather sharply what i do hate is people who have lurchers and by in lurchers with no itention of working them just for breeding them thats wrong ,
