wild rover 548
i never knew we had acd in this country. Lurcher crosses for about 30 years mate. Quote Link to post
caterpiller 10
i never knew we had acd in this country. There is a few Lads on this site who have ACD crosses. I am more than happy with mine......very handy Ferreting Dog......steady as a rock around the Longnets etc...not a Dog that has to be peeled off your net Very strong guarding instinct when back on home turf Can only speak of mine.....A Rabbit on fast ground on the Lamp has him well beaten....with him being a 1st cross.....he just has not got the pace Quote Link to post
fireman 10,869
Funny how litter mates can be different,my bitch was no where near the ferreting dog Caterpillers dogs is but she had enough pace for a bunny or two or even bigger game. A couple of Caterpillers dog. sorry for partly hijacking your thread WR,but all for the acd cause Quote Link to post
MagyarAgar 88
Nice Pics! Cheers, Magyar Agar Quote Link to post
caterpiller 10
Dont get me wrong Fireman....he is fairly quick for a 1st cross but.....a Rabbit on fast ground has him well beat.....just lacks that extra yard. I have also seen little flying machines on the Lamp Squeal and Yap enough to wake the Dead Who knows what the future may hold for us both Quote Link to post
stroller 341
Nice one WR did you get much today? We are out tomorrow, the snow came earlier turned to rain at tea time and is now in the process of freezing so it will be tricky getting to the bit we have in mind tomorrow Quote Link to post
wild rover 548
Nice one WR did you get much today? We are out tomorrow, the snow came earlier turned to rain at tea time and is now in the process of freezing so it will be tricky getting to the bit we have in mind tomorrow Packed in at lunch time mate, a snow blizzard started so didnt want to get caught out and my mates pup was with us and its only 5 month, so just done a few sets which would allow it to see whats happening, ferrets, bolters, rabbits in nets and general sniffing about, it did ok, nice and steady away, only got 5 but happy with that for the pup. Hope you have a decent day tmoz. Quote Link to post
