bp1984 11
Hello folks im having abit of a problem on choosing a new rifle as i want to go from pre charged to spring or gas ram, Ive just sold my AA s200 mk1 with the 10 shot conversion, ive been using this gun for about two years now and its been faultless out in the field. I use my gun for rabbits mainly and the odd pigeon, Ive been offerd a couple of guns at the right price the theoben fenman and the AA tx200 ive read reviews on both guns in some old airgun world mags and they both seem equally good guns so i just wondered if any one has got any advice for me? ive just thought aswell theres the BSA lightning XL in the right price range??? help Quote Link to post

chris1wg 24
i used to own the aa tx200 hc very nice gun gutted i got rid of it, its very accuarate one of the most accurate spring guns out there, only one problem i would say about it its a little on the heavy side but other than that i would go for it if i had the choice . stoaty 171
I like both guns but I'd definately take the fenman handy little guns fair play prefer a pro elite or pro sport to the tx but nowt wrong with any of them and all spring and gas rams will feel heavy after having a 200 fella its the nature of the beast. Best of luck Stoaty Quote Link to post

bp1984 11
Right been out today and had an hour with the tx 200 and my mate brought his bsa lightning XL and shot both a fair few times, I can easily say i prefered the TX 200 to the BSA but i still like the fenman its lookin like im gunna have to raid the bank and buy both till i decide or even trade them both for a new theoben SLR Quote Link to post
Big bald beautiful 1,231
fenmen good little gun let down by a shit trigger the TX200 is one of the best spring guns out there and is regular winning comps at field target but wouldnt find the fenman doing that. Quote Link to post
Big bald beautiful 1,231
i have shot the new shape slr, another brilliant gun let down by a trigger from the 1970's over priced for what they are Quote Link to post
gasram gus 2
fenman everytime fella ive had all the above mentioned, fenman head and shoulders above but its .20 cal you should go for, in 7& 1/2 " barrell length , but thats my opinion only !!!! good luck with your choice Quote Link to post
TGEvans 4
Im a big fan of the TX200! Amazing gun. Picked up a Theoben Evolution this week. Pretty good too. Never shot a Fenman though. They all do the same thing but as someone else pointed out in the thread its how it feels to you thats important. The stuff your shooting wont take much notice!T Quote Link to post

StevoSmith 147
I own a BSA Lightning and just brought a AA TX200 and it's a awsome rifle.....never shot a fenman though so no idea....most people on here stick with Air Arms and Weihrauch rifles as they best out there......but its up to you and your shooting style......good luck with your choice Quote Link to post
