Guest bullterrier Posted January 6, 2011 Report Share Posted January 6, 2011 a very sad day today never had the heart to tell the kids before they went to school this morning that old lady wouldn't be here when they got home i had appointment at the vets today to have lady Pt's it was for the best she was 13 this year and her back legs were giving way on her i bred her myself and and here she stayed she was a big part of this family and will be dearly missed but never forgotten but am man enough to say i shed a few tears today R I P old girl Quote Link to post Share on other sites

She had peritonitis and her gut just stopped working.I had a great vet and he did all he could but in the end I was keeping the dog alive for my sake not hers. I felt as guilty as hell.
