Coneytrappr 30
Raw chicken is a great food mate. No need to cut it up apart from working out how much you need to put if for them...their teeth will do the job. Raw chicken bones are fine and will keep their teeth healthy. Cooked bones on the other hand are an absolute nightmare. They are prone to splintering and can cause all types of trouble...only ever feed raw chicken bones. Quote Link to post

The one 8,524
Id feed them raw as the chicken if bought from shops will only be weeks old and it wont be old hard bones ,Saying that the last lot of chicken i got 500kilos after we split it i had 100 kilos left we minced it at BoBo's and put it in bags at 2LB a time for easier storage in the freezers Quote Link to post
Wardyuk 0
Chicken legs are fine, right amount of meet and a bone to chew on. In summer months though dont put too much raw meet in their due to the flies getting at it. Quote Link to post
