jpt 285
Good way to get a film or even pictures in the day. It is suprising though I wouldn't have thought that they would come so close in the day light but you learn somthing new everyday! I was expecting a loud BANG! JPT Quote Link to post
Guest furryferter
I ve had a bit of success squeeking during the day ...if you know a bit of cover that will hold a fox give it a try but what ive found is they will not commit themselfs like they do in the dark they seem to keep to the cover plus you need to keep your eyes open cause when your lampin you see there eyes in the lamp... but during the day you will have to really watch for charlie in the cover ... salclalin 240
Only ever called one up in the day,I watched it coming from about 2 hundred yards away, the old bitch was going beserk, came up to about 30yards away and slipped the bitch. The Fox made it into a little wood.I didn't see the outcome but the bitch came back covered in blood. Quote Link to post
Squirrel_Basher 17,100
Judging by the bird sound and foliage ,thats got to be Australia?Hell of a lot more foxes than we have . I've called in day light and as said before its tricky because they see movement so well .If your still ,they will come right up ,providing the wind is right and thats where most calling comes unstuck .An animal responds to a call but soon works up wind to determine what it is and to pin-point it if its edible .One way to combat this I've found is to take along a recently dead rabbit and open it up down wind of you but where it can be seen .Works sometimes but not always .
