zini 1,939 Posted January 4, 2011 Report Share Posted January 4, 2011 (edited) I agree, this is a very good site to be part of Ive tried other sites in the past but nothing compares to this one in my personal opinion Lots of experienced shots and hunters on here with many many years of knowledge and all are very forward in passing on their own experiences to others Ive learnt loads since I joined the section around 2 years ago from other experienced regulars on here, and hopefully have taught others something new too. I have also made some very good friends at the same time, friends for life, and have either shot with them on their permission or they have shot with me on my ones, or spoken to them either on the phone or via email as well as chat on here. andyfr1968 772 Posted January 4, 2011 Report Share Posted January 4, 2011 Yup, it's the members that make any site and there's some proper quality on here I've been on here for a couple of years now and as has been said above, I thought I knew a fair bit about shooting after over 30 years of experience but I've picked up loads of new info on here especially when I got my first PCP as I'd never owned one before. I must be one of the old fart brigade having shot for over 40 years with a spring air rifle of some sort, man and boy. I joined this group only a few months ago but, I've learned more than I have been able to contribute, from some of the best lads I've ever got to know in shooting, without actually meeting up yet! The younger fellows are keen, knowledgeable and properly focused on doing things right and showing a good and fine example of care in their fieldcraft and sportsmanship and willingness to help out whenever help is wanted. The older veterans here are free and generous with the wealth of their experience. If you have a question about a rifle, a pellet brand, calibre, a scope you like the look of, is it any good? Someone here will know exactly what you need to know and tell you about it! It is an honest privelledge to know and discuss good shooting with such fellows as there are here. Sincerely. Just simply highlight all that you wish to make coloured or whatever and press the little paintbrush with a capital A in the background to change the colour. To change the size highlight the text you wish to enlarge and then click the sizes box and select a size of your choice? simple really Richard Quote Link to post
