Tallyho 181 Posted January 4, 2011 Report Share Posted January 4, 2011 My daughter is not due back to school til thursday so thought i would get out for a walk with her and took my youngest lads air rifle with us for her to start having a go with, she was so excited about going even wanted to carry it across ( which didnt last long once we sat off ) she struggled a bit with the weight of it but she was not going to let that put her off she stood , knelt and lay to see which one worked for her. Then she finally started to hit the target, the smile on her face when she first hit it was lovley to see . she missed more than what she hit but who cares, she had a wail of a time and is all ready talking about " when she shoots her first rabbit or whan she shoots a pigeon " She cant wait to go again now. Great to see their faces when they actually start acheiving the results they want. My lad started when he was 10, now he's 23 got 5 working dogs, harris hawks, ferrets and travels the length and breath of the country hunting, can't slow him down now. 2 of my daughters have also had a good crack at the whip and been in a couple of HFT shooting comps getting to the finals too and appeared in Airgun World, not bad eh?
