some people eats them

and @chris...YES she is

the meet of the badger has a very good taste..in germany some people eat them, and i have to say it is very tasteful. also the fat from the badger is used for different things. it has very good health effect when put on wounds etc..the only negative effect: it smells very bad.

about badger( i am talking about the hunting of it in germany , the months when it is allowed):

@ erik do you work the dog on everything or exclusively on badger ? how does it work on fox..same style as wit badger or does it ajust its "style"? i am asking since i want also work my dog in the future more with badger, although at the moment he seems to be on the hard site with the fox..maybe he settles down or will develope another style with the badgers..your experience?

regards

i would never hunting badgers not fair on the dog or the badger i will tell you now if the badger gets its hands on any terrier it will take the dogs belly apart i spoke to this old man he told me that his friend went badger diging when he was younger with his dad and he seen a saff get killed so he swears blind that he would never put a dog to a badger again

:o:o Bloody hell!!!..............really?!...........thats fecking outrageous........... can they really do a dog that much damage......what else did he say???....I allways thought they were nice and have collected worms every Saturday in my garden to leave out in the local park for them.

I think they like them, "cause the worms are allways gone in the morning.....do you leave out worms Deltor mate?

WELL I DUG HUNDREDS OF THEM YEARS AGO AND WE USED TO TAKE THE BACK LEGS OFF AND CUE THEM AND HAVE BADGER HAM AND A PINT OF CIDER BLOODY LOVELY IT WERE, THE REST WOULD BE GIVEN TO THE DOGS.

IVE HAD DOGS KNOCKED ABOUT REAL BAD BY BROCK BUT IVE NEVER HAD THE GUTS RIPPED OUT, LEGS CHEWED OFF YES BUT MAINLY JAWS SNAPPED OFF. IT WAS GOOD SPORT AND I KNOW IT STILL GOES ON ALOT OF THE ROAD KILL ISNT REALLY ROAD KILL IT JUST PLACED THERE TO LOOK LIKE IT?

Totaly disagree with your statement about roadkill mate. Who in their right mind is going to take the chance to transport a dead badger to somewhere quiet to leave at the side of the road, also making statements like that does the terrier world more harm than good. f**k SAKE MAN THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU'RE SAYING BEFORE YOU SAY IT.

nice bitch mate,

friend of mine were out last week, just for a walk with his 5 foxterriers, they pull out a fox from bush, they try to cacth her, on their way they found a huge badger earth, they flu in, after several hours of digging with machine, my friend digged out one bitch nearly to death, one was ok, other 3 were dead, one was embedded and died out because of lack of air, other two were dismembered, their necks, stomachs .....

huge badgers at home, really bad day.

R.I.P Matulkoh, what country do you hunt in? Im presuming it's not the UK.
