nickGB 0
Dont know if anyone has said but on the fieldsports britain tv channel, they were asking people to send in photos and details of the biggest fox you have shot/killed, with a prize of a £95 rivers west jacket to the best story biggest fox. Am I allowed to post the website address? Im going to assume so, I have put the link to the competition is below. http://www.fieldsportschannel.tv/index.php/corporate-site-home/53-britains-biggest-foxes Quote Link to post
neil cooney 10,416
Thanks Nick, If that's a 34 pounder in one of those photos then the man holding it is a 7' foot 30 stone giant. It also mentions a 44 pounder shot in the 60s near London. The Guinness book recognised fieldsports up to the 80s. Like I said the record was 28lbs. They should have went for the record. Like I said, big pinches of salt. LOL,we mock anglers for their tall tails but when they claim a specimen they must have certified scales and witnesses. Foxhunters just need a photo and a vivid imagination. Edited January 6, 2011 by neil cooney Quote Link to post

Hah yeah that 44lb'er does sound a bit of a err fishy tale, and gonna be a bit of a hard one to ever prove now, its allot bigger than what anyone else has reliably claimed, is he sure he it wasn't someone's dog he shot, still I shouldn't make fun. drifter 1 50
Had one today that I thought was a real monster It isn't the longest fox Iv had but certainly the stockiest :showoff: :weight_lift2: , Took him to the farm and weighed him on some scales but they only went to 22lb and they showed him being heavier than that :tongue4: so I brought him home and asked my mate to bring his fishing scales over, Have just weighed him and his scales say he is 21lb Thought I was going to make front page the sun tomorrow I feel like Iv been robbed Lol Atb Drifter Edited January 8, 2011 by drifter 1 Quote Link to post
