landl10 0
Hi, Yesterday I took the dogs and ferrets out to give the dogs a quick chase, found a 4 holer, put 1 ferret down dogs chased 2 rabbits and then I heard some noises and the ferret came out backwards dragging out a 4 ft brown snake...So I quickly got the dogs on the leads and then stood back and waited. The ferret then started fighting with the snake, I was shocked that the ferret didn't get bitten and after a few minutes the snake went back down the hole. One luck ferret...and silly me for taking him out in the summer... Quote Link to post

I think he meant Brown Snake as in 'Eastern Brown Snake' not as in a brown snake! 'The Eastern Brown Snake (Pseudonaja textilis), often referred to as the Common Brown Snake, is an elapid snake native to Australia. This species is considered to be the second most venomous land snake' - Wikipedia Quote Link to post
