Buster321c 1,010 Posted January 3, 2011 Report Share Posted January 3, 2011 if you want fac air then get a rapid 7 , i have hsd the s410 extra fac , they are a good gun but not in the same leauge as my rapid fac , 28ftlbs in 22 is no good , you want about 34ftlb at about 1000fps with 16grain pellet , i get about 70 full power shots from my rapid atb tim Been chatting today with a bloke that runs an MFR @ 30flbs , now THAT is a real piece of kit . 70yd rabbits , head shot , no problem . jackinbox99 41 Posted January 4, 2011 Report Share Posted January 4, 2011 As somesome else said, FAC air rifles are very often cheaper than their non FAC counterpart. So, you`d probably be better off selling your s410k, and buying an FAC version, as firstly the gun will probably be cheaper, and secondly it will already be FAC. The non FAC s410 can be modified by a gunsmith to FAC, but obviously it will cost you money for their time / labour and parts, plus the gun will then be classed as FAC and be instantly reduced in value over what it was worth before! Looking on chairgun pro, an FAC .22 air rifle looks like it has a nearly flat tragectory, similar to a non FAC .177. Quote Link to post
