Tune S410k to fac

Happy New Year all , How easy is it to get an AA410K in .22 tuned to fac limits 28ft lbs approx( have fac air on fac ) advice welcome from you experienced chaps atb

Easier to get an FAC air rifle . For a start the shot count on a S410k doin 28lbs ( if it could , which i doubt very much ) is so low its pointless . The accuracy would go out the window aswell , as the parts would all need uprating . The S410 FAC Extra has a huge cylinder ( which can hold pressures above that capable of a standard S410 ) and a 15mm barrel . The breech is different , as will be the transfer port , firing pot , the list is endless really . Sorry to piss on the bonfire ...........Bust .

The FAC S410 Classic has been around a lot longer than the S410 extra. Shot count

is around 25 shots at 26ft lbs.

An RFD should be able to advise on best way forward. FAC rifles are way cheaper as the

market is smaller for them. Save yourself the trouble and buy one.

so it can be done,(GUNSMITHS ONLY)

Its weather you can use a sub 12lb as an FAC air rifle

Im still not having it , i dont recon a standard S410 would go above 15-16 . It would need modification , ie -replacing the internals with FAC parts .

if you want fac air then get a rapid 7 , i have hsd the s410 extra fac , they are a good gun but not in the same leauge as my rapid fac , 28ftlbs in 22 is no good , you want about 34ftlb at about 1000fps with 16grain pellet , i get about 70 full power shots from my rapid

A s410 classic will do 20-30 sweet shots in .22 at 28ftlb, buster you are correct a small number of parts do need to be replaced (not the place to get into it tho), but accuracy is not lost.
