They also weigh each bird at the dealers. If the dont make 'the weight' they dont pay for them but still take them!!!!!!! We get about £1 for rabbits frozen with guts in, shot or ferreted. Can get around £1.60 for gutted ferreted rabbits. Around 30 years ago I was getting £1 for gutted ferreted rabbits. Dont know why the price is still the same now tho dont make sense!! Pigeons prob get 30p frozen 40 - 50p fresh. Again 15- 20 years ago I used to get 40 - 50p for fresh birds. Price of cartridges now and the 'equation' isnt a good one!!!!
