Jsun 0
I have had one for two years, although i dont use it much now because i bought a Browning Maxus. The Hatsan is a good gun.. for the money. The only problem i had is the "O" ring at the top of the piston perishes from the hot gases, and will snap and cause a jam... regularly. Quote Link to post
lampingking 3
when you say regular , after how many shots, do you change it after every 200 shots or 20 shots. thanks Quote Link to post
HUnter_zero 58
Hi have one and to be honest, I am so impressed I would buy another just to have it!! Shot clays with it over Xmas, 50 clay cartridges and not even a sign of a jam. In fact, I've never had the gun jam. The "O" rings are 22mm x 2mm and can be purchased for 1p each, I get mine from a gas supplier for free. For 1p each, I simply change it every time I clean the gun not that it's needed. The one I have is the Mk1 which people do say is far better than the Mk2, I can not say either way. John Quote Link to post
Jsun 0
The ring only burns in one place right next to the two holes the gases come out from, so i used to turn O ring slightly every time i cleaned the gun. I replaced the ring roughly every 250 shots. Quote Link to post
AzMaN 0
i bought my hatsan about 2 years ago now, i put about 200 rounds a month throught it and ive never had to replace the o-ring (im not sure if mines a mark 1 or 2). the internal parts are starting to show signs of wear, i had to do a bit of fileing the other month to smooth off some burrs that had formed. it will cycle anything from 21gr to 32 (thats the most ive put through it) with the occasional jam. for the money i think its a great little gun. moses 5
i have never had a problem after 2 years and i use all sorts of rounds from 28grm for pigeon to 50grm bb's for fox. Quote Link to post
stubby 175
another for the hatsan from me, never had to replace the "o" ring, and the gun is well over a year old, gets used on a regular basis, you can cover it in mud, rain, blood, anything in fact, it'll carry on reguardless, and then a quick wipe over at end of day, or the next I used to clean it after every outing, but now, after every 2 or 3 notice no difference what so ever great gun for the price, easy to strip down (just look on u tube) and no worries if you drop it yes you can buy better, but then I suspect you'd be fannying around anytime it got mud, dirt, blood on it Quote Link to post

carpentermark 21
hi mate, all semi's will jam carts if theyre not kept "super clean". Ive got a webley 810 3 shot synthetic, brill gun wouldnt be without it but does jam if not cleaned regularly. Word of warning.... i didnt realise how much of a pain in the arse they are to clean relative to an over and under. Hope this helps. Quote Link to post
