hunter1989 91
hi buddy some shops will set them to 11fb because if you use heavy pellets the power my go up where if they set them to 11.6 and you use heavier pellets than you narmally use then you may go over the legal limit atb steve Quote Link to post

andyz 30
Nice one..... I would say a new gun normally comes out the factory around 10.6ft/lbs this is ample to do paper punching and hunting! More importantly have one for me... ATB. Andy Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Hi Garrick, I was at Tenches workshop a week and a half ago and i watched him adjust the power of my r10 using a 16 grain Air Arms pellet. 11.7 ish with a 16 grain pellet is fine. The r10 is really easy to adjust and someone could probably do it for you a lot quicker than BSA. Si Quote Link to post

Andy Hey andy that sounds about right as thats exactly what mine is doing as we found out yesterday and is ample power for me, proven on quarry at range on a number of ocasions, im not going to mess with mine (atleast not until the warranty expires lol) while the accuracy is there as you suggested. .atb. .ste. ghillies 209
in general springers give more power with lighter pelets, pcp's with heavey, but there's always going to an acception sooner later. 10.5 is a good starter...11.5 sort of a sencible max. Quote Link to post
