I was looking at the NIKKO GAMEKING 4-16x44 AO from ramsbottom, he has some good deals on at the minute, im just to fussy for my own good, havent got much spare cash at the moment due to xmas spending, could probs push £70 at the most, hmmmmmmmm decisions decisions Quote Link to post

Same with the Hawke scopes especially the Airmax models with the SR reticules. If you shoot .22 the SR12 is excellent as is the SR6 for .177. The rets offer plenty of aim points. Mikey. aaronpigeonplucker 32 Posted December 31, 2010 Report Share Posted December 31, 2010 i agree with buster mate, performance over looks anyday. that said the nikko gameking is a good scope. i would look at the hawke range as almost all hawkes are good value for money. your main needs for an airgun scope are; a mildot reticule, a magnification like 3-9, 4-12, 4-14 will be just right for about anything airgunning can throw at you. low mag like 4 for ferals and rats in barns and a high mag like 12 for open fields with rabbits. if you ever wish to take up HFT most people (as do i) use 10x mag. sr12 is a good scope. i wouldnt go with AGS as my mate said his fell apart and had poor quality optics.
