As ive mentioned before im looking for a new scope, but on a budget of £50, ive seen one called a Redhead pursuit target scope 6-24x40AO second hand, Has anybody got any info on it or owned one, Thanks in advance boys and girls

i just got a hawke night eye 3-9x50 ir red and green and mill dot for £50 from henry kranks and its great! (rrp £89)i dunno about the redhead pursuit target scope 6-24x40AO sounds a bargain for a high mag scope tho

Im thinking why is the redhead so cheap tho, is it going to be a cheap thing thats going to need re zeroing after every other shot lol i was looking at the HAWKE AIRMAX SR12 SCOPE, my mate has one for £65, thats a big mag scope aswell, but looks wise it doesnt do much for me, i know looks arnt as important as performance but im fussy lol

I was looking at the NIKKO GAMEKING 4-16x44 AO from ramsbottom, he has some good deals on at the minute, im just to fussy for my own good, havent got much spare cash at the moment due to xmas spending, could probs push £70 at the most, hmmmmmmmm decisions decisions

the ags scope is great i have one on my superten it does meen fine know ive worked out my mill dots and such holds zero very well but i dint kno it was that cheap it came on the gun but sound like a good deal knowing how it performs

Im a big fan of the Nikko's mate. For the money really good scopes. Same with the Hawke scopes especially the Airmax models with the SR reticules. If you shoot .22 the SR12 is excellent as is the SR6 for .177. The rets offer plenty of aim points.

Im a big fan of the Nikko's mate. For the money really good scopes. Same with the Hawke scopes especially the Airmax models with the SR reticules. If you shoot .22 the SR12 is excellent as is the SR6 for .177. The rets offer plenty of aim points.

I shoot .22 mate, got a super10 mk2 a few weeks ago second hand, scope it came with is a webley 4x32 and is basic, the sr12 does look nice, looks wise i like a long scope, hense the reason im looking at the Nikko gameking, and the redhead, im fussy when it comes to looks lol

If i were you ide think about performance , rather than looks ..........

i agree with buster mate, performance over looks anyday. that said the nikko gameking is a good scope. i would look at the hawke range as almost all hawkes are good value for money. your main needs for an airgun scope are; a mildot reticule, a magnification like 3-9, 4-12, 4-14 will be just right for about anything airgunning can throw at you. low mag like 4 for ferals and rats in barns and a high mag like 12 for open fields with rabbits. if you ever wish to take up HFT most people (as do i) use 10x mag. sr12 is a good scope. i wouldnt go with AGS as my mate said his fell apart and had poor quality optics.
