Millet 4,497
Not a nice thing to happen to anyones dog but in all honesty i never let mine run wild out of sight for the simple fact that they may attack someone elses dog and suffer the same fate as your beloved dog,im sure if i was out walking my smaller dogs and a bigger dog come and attacked them i would beat the living daylights out of that bigger dog with a stick, maybe that is what happened.

staffs riffraff 1,068
Sorry to hear that really am but I shit myself when my dogs go out of site for more that a few seconds and would never think about letting them roam alone unless in a secure fenced off area it took ten seconds for my dog to get killed that's all it takes

littlefish 586
Wasn't there a shar pei on the news this week that was taken in by a family and it tore the face of a kid a few days later? Maybe someone saw this dog and thought it was a dangerous type and took pre-emptive measures. Also, if this dog habitually ran loose, maybe it was causing annoyance to someone local? Unfortunate really.
Ideation 8,216
Fucks sake, with some of these replies. We've all had our dogs run off out of sight, especially our running dogs, it happens. Unless its to save a life there is no excuse for beating a dog to death. Sounds like the poor thing ran into some of the many many many scum that are all over our country.

Are you for real it was a shar pei not a fecking ABT And if this dog was aggressive in any way I think Kev's missus would've been aware has its been running around alone for a while

Attack Fell Terrier 864
It might sound harsh but if he was more responsible and didn't allow the dog to run off out of sight for half hour at a time it wouldn't of been killed. Still, Sorry to hear your dog has been battered to death.
