happy larry 3
Yes i feed my 2 pigs trotters but i get the butcher to leave the hock on them,so theres a fare bit of meat.I also get a pigs head split in half, let them eat there fill then put it in the fridge till the next day.If theres any thing left after the 2nd feed off the head i give it to the ferrets.Oh before the dogs get the head i cut the ears off, boil them then roast in the oven, makes good chews. Matt i think thats down to Sarah walking about with no slippers on all the time with them size 9 trotters of hers the dogs wont know whats what. I give mine trotters and lugs 3-4 times a week. I pay 58p for 4 trotters and 58p for about 6 lugs from Bolams @ Sedgefield and they are already roast
rapidjenky 97
i get mine from work, just roast them whole and give them to the bulls, the pup gets roast ears. its just me but i never feed pork raw. i also get beef brisket bone and beef ribs once a week. the brisket bones are great, tough enough to munch on but soft enough to eat the lot, loads of meat on them and alot of fat. rapidjenky 97
Ill have to see if can get some of them jenky which ones mate? if you want anything like that and can come and collect the day i get it i can get you some from work. its just a matter of catching the boning room lads to keep me some back. i have to pay for pig heads as there pritty tight at work but bones, trotters and the such i can normally lay my hands on. even get sheep carcases from time to time and the lads are pretty poor some days and leave a good amount of meat on the bones! i much prefer lamb for dogs which is why mine have a main diet of lamb heart.
