Had a go myself a few months back after I found this underneath a load of tall trees on a housing estate I was walking through:

Fed him up for a week & had him hopping onto my hand. He heard a load of crows fly overhead one afternoon when he was sat on that perch, and buggered off! He didn't get far, only the apple tree in the neighbours garden, then he was beaten up by a pair of magpies! Spent the next few hours sat there looking sorry for himself until he buggered off for good.

I tell you what pal, I had the air rifle in the garden ready for when the magpies came back, & at one point I put the cross hairs smack on on the ungrateful little b*****d's head.. I should have gone with my first instinct when I found it, wrung it's neck and tossed it in with the ferrets.. :whistling::laugh:

Jokes aside, I think it was too old to start taming..
