Malt 379 Posted January 24, 2011 Report Share Posted January 24, 2011 Had a go myself a few months back after I found this underneath a load of tall trees on a housing estate I was walking through: Fed him up for a week & had him hopping onto my hand. He heard a load of crows fly overhead one afternoon when he was sat on that perch, and buggered off! He didn't get far, only the apple tree in the neighbours garden, then he was beaten up by a pair of magpies! deadly 1 Posted February 5, 2011 Report Share Posted February 5, 2011 i had a jackdaw for 7 years i used to keep him locked up but a neighbour complained said i had a wild bird locked up and no ring,so i let him go he was about for 3 years after that i just gave a whistle and he would come to me follow me al over the place ,he was a bit nasty with my kids so i took him to a sanctuary near ipswich ,i miss old jack you get to learn a lot about birds when you can get that close ,have some funny stories about him Quote Link to post Share on other sites
