O.k, as some of you allready know me and steve poped out in the snow (waste of time for hunting but good fun) and decided that when the snow thaws we would go and make are presence felt from the run around we got last time,

Stopped of at our cricket pitch permission for a quick zero, then arrived at the hunting ground at about 10pm and had a cup of tea (we can be quite leasurely like that :)) got geared up and off we went, over the stream and [bANNED TEXT] out in the open is where I took my second rabbit,

The red glow of the lamp lighting up a pair of rubys in the night, I creaped forward step by step trying to minimise squelch from the melted snow, with steve stood beside me, I got down on one knee (no jokes please) then down onto my front for the shot, my knees and elbows cumfy in the soft ground the damp creaping in, I flicked on the lamp again and took aim, now as im sure you all know it can be tricky to judge distance in the dark, I was just thinking 1 mill dot, when steve whisperd gently in my ear exactly what I was thinking and giving me the mental green light for the shot,

In came the first stage out came the last breath, squizing in the second, CRACK!! Pellet on skull lights out right on the off switch (see first photo steve put up), a jump in the air and the one leg salute. Id like to add the whole time I was lining this shot up steve was raising his rifle to his shoulder with intent (b*****d) lol, its like shooting on a time limit :).

The first one steve dident even see until it flew out of the grass with a double backflip (of sorts) after meeting lead, another clinical head shot.

It wasnt the 40 yards or so of the second one, but at about 25 yards standing un-rested and with steves warm breath on the back of my neck not a bad shot by my standards.

The running commentry just dident do the night justice so theres something a little more in depth for ya's :)

hi lads

Well my night started fast.

I was stalking around 6 rabbits at one of the main warrens.flick of the lamp reinsured me that a shot was to be taken as i saw one bunnie on its back legs.so i rested on a metal fence post around 40 yards and sent one bunnie one bunny home.after an hour i walked round to the car park(ste hotspot) where i saw 4 rabbits bipod came out whack another two down then as the night was closing in i managed another 40 yard shot so was a good night as always.
