fireman 11,178
Here are a few pics of a litter brother to the bitch i lost lost last year,he belongs to Caterpillar on here and so i'm told he is a very good ferreting dog indeed and not a dog who just goes ferreting . The ferret had caught it's rabbit just inside the hole and rather than rush in grabbing at what it can't see,he's letting his owner know what happened. Cool and controled. In this pic a stranger has walked close by and see how the dog has pushed in and is looking to make sure the stranger is no threat a strong acd trait ,the lad by the way is not the owner but is very well known by the dog. I started taking him out breaking him to the Longnets etc....when he was 16weeks old, i just kept the sessions short and sweet and took him where there was a good population of Rabbits.
