jigsaw i have a pair of meindl dovre gtx boots cant fault them two seasons over them and thats digging and still in good nick and water proof 210stg i paid for them but think its money well spent also have the pro army gore tex vibram soled boots and have too say at 70 quid they are excellent digging partner has his two season s never let water in yet and are very tough and comfy and if i was truthfull they even more comfy than the meindls but you ll be well pleased with either pair of boots which ever you decide on .

alright lads i'm a size 11 in trainers what size do you think i'll need in the gortex army boot, should i go for a size 10.

Mate i'v had meindl,lowa's,hanwag's etc etc and the meindl are class butr the best boot on the market in my opinion is the new british army goretex pro-boot..

I have 2 pairs and i love them..High leg..Suitable for cold weather...goretex..vibram soles.They really are a class act..you can pick them up on ebay for £79.99

Just like to say, i got these boots in the post today and they are A1......

I walked 8 miles to test them out and it was comfort all the way.

Then decided to walk across some wet fields, spot on..

Higly recommend them..... ..

do your self a favour jigsaw dont be getting a pair of british army boots!i no a few ggod english men thats 100%, but theres a certain few f**k pots on here that would love to see an irish man farting about cork with british issue army boots;espically a man from rebel country cork.they be laughin there bollox of at ye.

i highly recomend lowa gtx mountain combat boots .theres a shop in cork that sells them.

Their is not a lot of difference between the 2 sir and i am Irish..

Only difference being, the uk army ones, are far more cheaper..
