johnboy19 38
Hi all, just a quick write up. Headed to a new permission today for some ferals, its a farm me and the girlfriend often go to get ice cream from, had noticed the ferals before so thought i would head over yesterday and see if they want them shot, farmer said he already has people that do it but allowed me to do it also. Me and my mate Scotty headed over this afternoon with the S410 and Ultra. Started off quite slow with a few straight misses but soon picked up with a few kills, just waiting for them to land, pop one, off they all went, wait for them to come back and same again. its amazing how stupid the ferals are. It was two seperate barns they seemed to be frequenting so we just went between the two, letting each settle a bit before we went back. I had shot one and it had died right at the edge of the roof, when we went back to this barn at one point, there was another feral pumping it!! So it got one in the head, at least it died happy So the total for the day was about 13 or 14 ferals. Think at least 9 or 10 of them got stuck on roofs, with some falling but couldnt be retrieved, the others being picked up by some feral cats. This is the only pic i took today, this is where the majority where shot from, on top of hay bales stacked 3 high, so a good vantage point. Its hard to see as i never zoomed in but theres a dead feral at the front of the red barn, right in the middle of the arc on the roof, and another two live ones a couple meters behind it.
