Mitch 0
I got this guy in a urine post set, Im sure its the dog to the vixen i caught a month ago in the same location. The trap was sprung first and then i caught him on the remake, after i washed my pan cover in the damn, good my trap wasnt contaminated as i thought this was my main problem. There is still another one i am chasing, i should have him soon enough Quote Link to post

Mitch 0
Not with these rubber padded traps, they do hardly any damage to the foxes foot. Remember a foxes foot is very tough and robust the foxes i have caught have only had a line in the fur of there feet by the traps. You get some foxes who bite the trap and have a few nips on there feet, but they will still be able to run off no problems. Quote Link to post

Mitch 0
It makes it hard i know, Foothold traps have such a bad reputation. But they are a very effective trap and times have changed dramatically and so has technology these are state of the art traps. Foxes down here are terrible news especially for farmers so the more variety we have at reducing there numbers the better. Quote Link to post
