runforyourlife 361
Their is some prime land in front of our house.. The fields on the top side of the hill are hot property, with there being no excuses, and your dogs ending up shot, its that simple... I finally got out and on them on xmas day... Its usually a detore around them. As i have the ground to the right.. I was up at 1st light, and with in 9 minutes(the upward walk) was running some good game.(As we wlked down the middle of the road, it was quite surreal how quiet it was, the central heating piled out of the folks houses as kids sat unwrapping there preasents )...Also most of the village looks up on the side of the hills, so is difficult to run much without being seen. ESPECIALLY IN THE SNOW! Its bushy, rough ground till you actually get onto the flat fields on the top. So the help of my missus lay in bed watching all the runs helped(she had the best view)!, as she told me the whereabouts of the bushing dogs, and also the game which was moving and which way it went....3 different species were ran, and it was an hour of exhilerating stuff. Good team work by all the family...!! As i decided to leave, i heard from behind me and way in the distance, "get off this f...... property now, get off" A smile came across my face, as i slipped into the lowland woods and disappeared as fast as i had arrived......
