Such a shame nowdays when you see these overweight dogs waddeling around, bull breeds in general and staffs in paticular seem to suffer from these type of owners who think a fat dog looks hard or whatever. The print is very nice.......I like all that kind of stuff.......very Hogarth .........not seen many prints of that type about from the time I am guessing that was done......... Its a shame that you dont see more staffs working as I found them to be very intelligent and trainable little dogs J Quote Link to post

I would imagine they would have a fair value to the right people........but I bet they wouldnt let you on antiques roadshow with them Your right about them being greedy, like most terriers given the chance they will just keep scoffing ........but as I say, probly the most trainable terrier I have come across, but then again I have only owned them and russell types........Oh and a yorkie J Quote Link to post

Got some nice coursing ones and a lovely "spearing the otter" one which shows bulldogs working alongside hounds. I've just contacted a sporting auction house about putting them in for an April sale.
