NEAR FATAL ACCIDENT!!!!

went out for a walk up the local country park yesterday mornin, thats been the only place ive been walkin realy with this weather. Theres always rabbits darting through the bushes and the dogs were as usual darting round after 1 or 2 the little bitch darted into a bush with 1 the next thing a big cry!! Now this dog never makes a peep so i knew she must of hurt herself... she comes trottin out the bush a bit sheepish then i notice the blood drippimg on the snow!! F**K ME there was a hole as big as a 1pence peice straight through her chest cavity!!I could here her breathing through it, i honestly thought it was the end of her! straight to the vets with her and a bit of good news, nothing was damaged internaly just a seven inch cut and sevral stitches and a realy bad hair cut! lol..so with a bit of good rest and some medication she will make a good recovery

Cheers for the comments lads..ive had some fair skin tears over the years, but the sound of burbling blood comming from a hole in her chest did just shit me up thought it had gone into her lung at first! alls good though

glad dogs ok mate,had my lurcher jump a 2 ft wall in a pub area after a bunny but other side 12 ft drop

did you see what see did it on mate.had afew knocks and cuts but the worst was my olds saluki grey broke her neck.that was afew years ago but im still gutted now,she was a very good dog.whats the worst that as happened to your dogs lads

Lucky dog by the sound of it: my old Deer/Grey had to be put down after impaling herself on a branch: your's was so lucky.

Never even botherd goin to look mate just picked her up and ran to the car..it was proberbly a snapped branch i imagine,

with the ground and eveythin been frozen there's no give in the ground.. took her out the front yard earlyer today 4 a pee and she tryed too chase a cat!! she soon be back to her self.
