Guest crobinc840
Looks good and keeping it above the dogs should keep them a bit warmer too. Mine are sleeping a lot more since the cold set in so they might just be taking a nice rest in their comfy new home. Quote Link to post
chilly 59
yea thats what i think lazy gits lol, the dog never uses the shelter always in the house lol , when we had 2 dogs they would use it in the day but in house at night, as long as they are worm in their box im happy Quote Link to post
chilly 59
one of them came out for a bit any way , one thing i have realised tho is i have lost my confidence with them after all these years away lol put gloves on to handle them earlier lol Quote Link to post
darbo 4,776
dont worry your confidence will come back spend time with them.sit in the shed with them. handle them everyday.in a few weeks you wont even think about it. Quote Link to post
KittleRox 2,147
good stuff, quality living for yer ferrets, not criticising but I wouldn,t put all them jumpers around the sleeping quarters, you should just put a fleece or two in the box and drill a few holes near the top of the box for proper ventilation, good luck to you and happy hunting, Quote Link to post
chilly 59
hmmm i did think about that and thought there would be enough air getting thro the hole they get in , do you think it could cause problems ?? Quote Link to post

Aye,had this problem myself, even though I had drilled some holes in the box condensation was still building up and making the bedding damp, easy fix though,I just leave the lid with a 1/2 inch gap.The ferrets shouldn,t really be affected with the cold if they have adequate bedding, its draughts and dampness that can kill them, Quote Link to post
