Thats maybe true but were not talking about a little nip here, surely you would go into survival mode.....and what about the other person in the house, they should have had enough time to step in? The deceased may of been vulnerable (learning difficulties, disabled) there could be other factors not disclosed to the public as yet. Some people may go into shock and just freeze, or/and, she was fighting for her life but very weak and in pain.

If she was still fighting with the dog when the police arrived then they must have been at it for a while..........doesn't add up!!

I think the freezing/shock thing might have been a factor, but also if the dogs teeth have punctured a major artery it wouldn't take long for the victim to bleed out, given that they're under major stress and the BPM must be really high. HiLost 32
imagine the guilt the other person must be feeling, whether they tried to help or froze with fear, either way someone has died and the memory of thats going to stay with them the rest of their life

danw 1,748
He said police marksmen evacuated neighbours on the other side and considered moving him and his wife as well. "They told us to expect 10 rounds to take the dog out," said Mr Yanbolu. "But it was only four. We heard three and then 30 seconds later there was one more." Not sure the plod really deserve the term marksmen
