hily 379 Posted March 7, 2011 Author Report Share Posted March 7, 2011 I don't know much about old snowmobiles but it looks like the same engine as used in some of the old Massey Ferguson Ski Whiz's. it's a sach 290 engine.I know even less about these as we don't get the snowfall here but the last two winters we had a problem geting out to feed the pheasants so trying to get this old girl to work for us if we do sods law we don't get any more snow :search: Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Arctic Cat, Skidoo, Massey Ferguson and Evinrude. Great little things to mess around on but they can be a major pain to keep them running good. I always found they'd run really good when it was good and cold but once it gets up to 0 or +1 they had a real hard time. I never could get the carbs tweeked enough for the milder temps.
