philip140 6
A Chinese scope or a Chinese scope, hmmm, neither! I recommend saving up and buying something better, unless of course, it's going on a chinese airgun! Quote Link to post
THE GRIFF 8
I have a nikko gameking that was on a air rifle when I got it, it has done me for the last 12 months but its not very clear at anything more than 30 yards and not clear on the higher mag(mine is the 3.5-10x50). I have recently bought 2 SMK scopes and they are really accurate and crystal clear compared to the gameking even on the x16 mag. I dont know if the gameking scope I have is faulty but when you adjust the parralex it doesn't make it much better, the SMK scope is alot clearer than the gameking even if you dont touch the parralex. I would advise going into a shop(kieths's sports at saltburn stock the gameking, not sure about BSA), taking both scopes outside and looking through them in daylight to see which one you think looks better. By the way, the SMK scopes I am on about are also chinese and seem ok for the money to me, in my oppinion a more expensive scope only performs alot better in low light situations. If you are using it for lamping then get a decent lamp and a scope that has a illuminated crosshair and you will be able to see everything you want through it. Quote Link to post
